Where the term ‘unit’ or 'product' applies to a Steam Shower, Shower Enclosure, Whirlpool or other AquaLusso product.

AquaLusso provides a limited warranty on its products for use in the United Kingdom to original purchasers for personal or single family use. Steam Showers, Whirlpool Baths and Shower Cabins are not covered for use in Hotels, Guest Houses, Holiday Lets etc, unless explicitly discussed and written consent to cover the product for non single family (residential) use is provided to the customer.

What is covered?
The warranty covers the tub/tray, including the frame, walls, skirt, framework, roof and supplied components (inclusive but not exclusive), panels, whirlpool pump, steam generator, electrical control box, electronic control pads, valves, standard plumbing hoses and electrical cables supplied with the unit against defects in material or workmanship and runs from the date of delivery. The Warranty does not cover light bulbs, fluorescent lighting tubes, LED lights, Batteries or Fuses.

Our Warranty does not cover defects or damage arising in respect of:

(1) fair wear and tear;
(2) misuse or abuse;
(3) non consumer use;
(4) failure to install or utilise the product in accordance with any written instructions, good plumbing practice or any legal legislation;
(5) parts which do not form part of the material structure of the product;

The Warranty commences from the date of delivery (as indicated on the delivery manifest and signed for on arrival) for 12 months and requires the Installation Certificate to be fully completed and returned to us upon making a claim under the Warranty in order that we can supply parts under the Warranty.

Platinum Range 5 Year Warranty
From the 1st February 2011 all AquaLusso Platinum Range Steam Showers purchased on or after this date will qualify for 5 years parts warranty.

The AquaLusso product purchased MUST be registered within 60 days of delivery of the product to qualify for the additional 48 months Warranty. Registration requires completing and returning to AquaLusso the Warranty form supplied with your purchase. Additional copies of the Warranty form can be downloaded from: www.aqualusso.co.uk/warranty. AquaLusso Pure Showers Lifetime Warranty
From the 1st February 2011 all AquaLusso Pure Range Steam Showers purchased on or after this date will qualify for Lifetime parts warranty.

The tub/base/tray must be water tested for operation and leaks prior to continuing the installation. The installer must attend to any leaks and make water tight before continuing installation. We will not be held liable; financially or otherwise for leaks that we are notified of, from the tub/base/tray, that should have been noted and attended to at this part of the installation process, and where the assembly is continued. The extent of our liability is the send replacement parts only where the part/s being supplied have failed.

Proper drain installation is the responsibility of the installer; this includes ensuring all connections are water tight, including those pre-fitted. Some connections, such as the waste are fitted for transport, but not fully tightened. Our warranty does not cover drain leakage.

If a problem is discovered after installation, AquaLusso will not be responsible for the cost of removing or reinstalling the unit, or for costs associated with any adjacent materials.

Modifications to the product other than the removal of the RCD and/or Plug WILL VOID the warranty.

Return of Warranty Card/Form:
The warranty registration form is supplied with the product manual. The Warranty form must be filled out and returned by the purchaser within sixty (60) days from delivery and mailed to AquaLusso in order for this warranty to take effect. Failure to register the product within 60 days of delivery will render the product only liable for 12 months Parts Warranty cover from the date of delivery. It is the customers responsibility to ensure the product has been successfully registered.

Warranty Limitations:
Your Warranty does not cover defects, damage, or failure caused by common carrier, installer, user, or other person. Chips, cracks, and scratches can be repaired by a qualified technician at the owner’s/user’s expense. We do not cover the following: careless handling; modification of any type for any reason; improper installation (See Installation Instructions); connections supplied by the installer; improper voltage supply/electrical modifications; misuse; incorrect or improper maintenance; incorrect or inadequate water use; use of improper cleaners; or extraordinary acts such as earthquakes, hurricanes, lightning, floods, hail, explosions etc.

Extent of Warranty:
This warranty extends only to the original consumer/purchaser of the product when purchased and originally installed within the boundaries of the United Kingdom. The warranty terminates after transfer of ownership or if it is installed or relocated outside the boundaries of the United Kingdom by the original consumer/purchaser prior to the expiration of the warranty period. Display floor models and overstock sale units are excluded from this warranty.

Acts Invalidating Warranty:
Inspecting the unit prior to installation is the responsibility of the installer(s) or person(s) acting on behalf of the user or the user. They are responsible for ensuring that the unit is free of defect or damage. We will not be liable for costs incurred through delays in sending any parts. AquaLusso is not responsible for failure or damage that should have been discovered, repaired, and avoided by proper inspection and testing prior to installation.

Damage that occurred in transit is the responsibility of the carrier. The consignee must open and inspect the goods for damage when it is delivered. (20minutes is allocated at the time of delivery to check the goods and to sign according to their condition) A further 2 working/business days (48hrs) is given to enable a reasonable amount of time to open all box and inspect fully all box content and report any items missing or damaged. All reports of missing or damaged parts deemed to have happened during delivery must be made either by phone, or email within 48 hours of delivery. We may request photographs to be sent of any damages. If the product cartons appear damaged, then the item MUST be signed for indicating damage.

It is the responsibility of the installer, contractor, or user to install the unit properly allowing for access for service. Damage, including chips or scratches, occurring to the unit during installation is the responsibility of the installer and after installation is the responsibility of the user.

Should a claim arise, the issue will be investigated. As part of this investigation we request that the following conditions be satisfied:

(1) The product has been fitted in accordance with the fitting instructions, local bylaws and general good plumbing and electrical practice.
(2) The product has been maintained and cared for in compliance with our instructions (including regular and appropriate cleaning). If it is our opinion that the product has been modified, misused, neglected, wilfully or accidentally damaged, we can accept no responsibility for failure.
(3) The opportunity to inspect the product in the installed condition.

Where an AquaLusso model is purchased from a NON Approved re-seller, Ebay seller, Third Party or other seller who is either not selling the item identified as AquaLusso, or whos normal Warranty superceeded the Warranty offered by AquaLusso, will not be covered under our Warranty.

Parts supplied under Warranty
Replacement parts are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for ninety (90) days or, for the remainder of the Limited Warranty Period of the Product they are replacing or in which they are installed, whichever is longer.

Site Visit (installer visit request)
Should you require a site visit from a approved installer to investigate a fault you have with your product, this can be arranged by completing and returning a Site Visit Request Form. Copies of the Site Visit Request Form are available in the downloads areas of the www.aqualusso.co.uk website or by requesting a copy by calling us on 0845 504 0435

In completing the On Site Visit Request Form we will ask you to provide your credit/debit card details. In doing so, you consent to allow us to use these details to process the payment of £110.00. The site visit request fee will be refunded if the fault is deemed as a result of a fault or failure covered by the warranty. If as a result of the site visit we reasonably determine that the product is not covered by our guarantee, we reserve the right not refund the monies (£110) to cover the labour costs incurred by us in making the site visit.

Disclaimers:
We is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages/losses from any cause such as water damage to carpeting, floors, or ceilings. Optional equipment not manufactured or sold by AquaLusso is not covered. Damages or defects that should be detected before installation are not covered. This limited warranty does not include labour, transportation, or other costs incurred in the removal and/or reinstallation of the original unit or replacement unit or any parts that need replacing. Costs related to obtaining access for repair are not covered. The foregoing warranty is EXCLUSIVE and in lieu of all other warranties, including any other warranty of quality, express or implied, and including any warranty of merchantability, or any warranty of fitness for any particular purpose.

For special order items or items modified specifically at or by the customer’s request:
In situations where an item has been specially ordered, modified or manufacturer specifically for the customer, aside from any reasons relating to product failure or fault, we will not accept these items to be returned.
